Cemetery Masses

As the pandemic  continues we have been advised that there should be no Cemetery Masses in our parish over the summer months.  The beautiful tradition that sees families gather, across generations and counties, is for now best avoided.

For now the safety of people and our caring for each other is so important.

Baptisms in our Parish

Following Government advice (see we have decided to postpone the celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism in our parish for the moment.  We apologise for the inconvenience and upset caused but we feel it is imperative that we follow the latest Government advice.

First Holy Communion Postponed

Following an Interview with An Tánaiste Mr Leo Varadkar yesterday the 29th June 2021, in which he outlined the current NPHET guidelines regarding the Celebration of First Holy Communion, St John’s Parish has reluctantly postponed the celebration of First Holy Communions.  We apologise for any inconvenience and upset caused by this decision.

Monday to Friday at 6.00pm

Saturday at 12.00 noon*, 3.00pm* and 5.00pm

Sunday at 1.00pm and 6.00pm.
